Sutton Coldfield has its own Festival of Arts. Just 30 minutes drive from Burntwood, the festival will run from 9 July 2008 to 13 July 2008.
The festival is a showcase for local artists and features acts in many venues throughout the city. From school and college theatres performing in schools and colleges to rock bands in pubs and pizza restaurants.
The focus of the event is Saturday 12 July when there are over 60 acts performing and events going on at 19 venues throughout the day.
The Festival has its own website at www.suttonfestivalofarts.co.uk (thats "Festival of Arts" not "Festival o Farts") with a pdf programme. It also has its own Twitter account.
