Sutton Coldfield has its own Festival of Arts. Just 30 minutes drive from Burntwood, the festival will run from 9 July 2008 to 13 July 2008.

The festival is a showcase for local artists and features acts in many venues throughout the city. From school and college theatres performing in schools and colleges to rock bands in pubs and pizza restaurants.

The focus of the event is Saturday 12 July when there are over 60 acts performing and events going on at 19 venues throughout the day.

The Festival has its own website at www.suttonfestivalofarts.co.uk (thats "Festival of Arts" not "Festival o Farts") with a pdf programme. It also has its own Twitter account.

The Brownhills branch of Perfect Pizza delivers to most addresses in Burntwood I believe, although if you try to order online it will direct you to the Walsall branch.

Naseeb Balti House is on the Triangle on Hospital Road. We had this menu delivered today so might give them a try tomorrow. It's quite a large menu with what looks like a good selection on it. The menu is reproduced below. Click on the pictures to see it full size.

Aardvark Faces brings face-painting, temporary tattoos special FX make up to any occassion. They can be hired on an hourly rate for parties and functions, both children's' and adults', or charge per person; ideal for large events and fundraising functions.

Pete Shingler makes unique solid oak furniture to order. Working on his own to either his own designs or those specified by customers, Pete makes furniture primarily because he enjoys it. Superb Chinese Restaurant is on Princess Street, Chase Terrace. It's widely thought to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Burntwood.
