Illegal drugs and cash worth nearly £25,000 were seized during a police raid on a house at Burntwood.

They recovered two kilograms of high powered ‘skunk’ cannabis; several ounces of cocaine plus more than £9,000 in cash after swooping on the property off Cannock Road, Chase Terrace on Thursday 17 July

The latest raid is part of an ongoing campaign by Staffordshire Police, codenamed Operation Nemesis, which has seen dozens of drug dealers taken off the streets across the county. It involved officers from Trent Valley’s pro-active policing unit, which targets drugs dealers, burglars and organised crime and resulted in one arrest.
